When we decided to get our kitchen redesigned, we were recommend two different companies. Upon having an initial meeting with Diane, I knew Diane Berry Kitchens would be the one we’d go with; I was right!  From the very first meeting I had with Diane, I was so impressed. It is incredibly rare you happen upon somebody who knows their stuff like this lady does and I really enjoyed spending time with her, working to get the space just right for us. Diane really took the time to get to know us and how we lived, what we wanted from the kitchen both now and in the future, to make sure it stood the test of time. The designs Diane came back with blew us away, she’d reworked the space in a much better way than we imagined possible. Diane’s enthusiasm, knowledge, dedication and passion is clearly the driving force in, what has to be, one of the most professional companies I have had the pleasure to work with. The kitchen fitter was incredible too. I never thought I’d be sad to see a work man leave, but I was. He was a real pleasure to have in the house; his work was meticulous and he left the space immaculate every day. All the staff at Diane Berry Kitchens have been a pleasure to deal with and so efficient. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the end result and have recommended Diane to many of my friends and family.

When we decided to have a new kitchen, we still wanted a free standing gas cooker and no gadgets in cupboards. ………… most of the Kitchen Showrooms we looked around, the assistants looked amazed and tried to change our minds.

Diane listens to what you want, and goes out of her way to design a kitchen to suit you.

There was just one problem we had with the kitchen itself …….. but we give Diane and her team 10/10 for their speed and efficiency for sorting our problem out, thanks to Michael who was working nearby, it was soon sorted.

We couldn’t ask for anything more …… Thank you

In the 46 years we have lived in our house, we felt ..……. Diane you are so passionate about your work, and it shows in the people who work for you, as mentioned below.

They have been the most excellent, tidy, courteous workmen, we have had in our house, they all cared, and took a pride in their work, to get the end result which we have now …..… which is Absolutely Fabulous.

We just want to thank you all …….

Having visited a few kitchen designers we picked Diane Berry as we were immediately impressed with her. Unlike others, she not only listened to what we wanted but also showed interest in our lifestyle - even down to things like our height, whether we had pets and what jewellery was worn (well you wouldn't want a surface that would be full of scratches from a diamond ring you may be wearing!). Diane came back with a design that met everything on our wish list and more. She gave us ideas that suited our kitchen and which we would never have thought of.
Due to the amount of work required, it was a long project but one that Diane and her team ensured that the flow of work was seamless, everyone was professional and obliging and the workmen were spot on.
We ended up with a kitchen that ticked all the boxes and has proved very functional.
We would have no hesitation in going back if ever we moved house, but why would we as we have the kitchen of our dreams.

At our initial meeting with Diane Berry, we made it clear that for us, whatever else it might be, the kitchen was a practical work space. Yes of course, we wanted a kitchen that looked great as well as being a place we could both eat and relax. But these things must, we emphasised, not come at the expense of what we saw as the kitchen’s primary functions: somewhere food was prepared and cooked. Additionally, as we didn’t have space for a separate utility room, the kitchen also had to be the place we could do our laundry.

Prior to approaching Diane Berry Kitchens, we had met with a number of other kitchen companies in the Manchester area. However, none of them seemed to properly understand our brief. In one particular case we were urged to forget kitchen functionality and go simply for what was described as the ‘wow’ factor.

By contrast, Diane understood our requirements from the start; and after a few meetings with her, the design of the kitchen began to take shape. The outcome is a kitchen that is both practical and beautiful. It is a room we enjoy spending time in.

We can honestly say that there is nothing in the kitchen we don’t like, or that doesn’t work for us in the way we’d hoped. Of the things we like, however, the following especially stand out.

The ‘utility cupboard’ is certainly pretty special. What from the outside looks like a double-door kitchen cupboard, once opened reveals a space into which one can walk, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer on one side, and on the other, a microwave oven and shelving for various household products. It is a very neat and clever piece of design.

The island, which mimics the shape of the kitchen, has an almost two metre run of unbroken work-top on one side, providing a very easy to use work area; while on the other side of the island is an oak breakfast bar that gives the kitchen a really warm feel.

One of the other things we really love about the kitchen is that it is so easy to keep tidy and clean. There is a place for everything, but the kitchen doesn’t look at all crammed with cabinets and has a really spacious feel; while the glass doors on the cabinets, the glass splash-back, as well as the induction hob  not only look amazing, they make cleaning very easy.

Everyone who sees our kitchen is impressed and it continues to impress us. We are more than happy with it. Indeed, the kitchen has exceeded all our expectations.

We moved into our self build home at the end of June 2015.  Just after we bought the plot of land in early 2014 we met with our future neighbours & we were bowled over by their 'wow' kitchen, & that is how we were introduced to Diane.  When we met Diane we were still designing the house & our brief to Diane was a ground floor centred around a 'wow' kitchen.  She produced sketches & met with us & our architect to design the layout.  Diane did not stop at the ground floor but also helped with the layout on the remainder of the house.

Diane helped us with design ideas, material choices, material & furniture suppliers for the whole house.  This took considerable time & effort.

Diane not only gave us an amazing kitchen, which everyone comments on, but also played a major role in helping us to design & build our dream home.

Diane & her team are experts in design, not limited to kitchens.

Dear Diane,

Just a quick line to say a very big THANK YOU, to you and all your team for our fabulous new kitchen.  We have taken a little while before contacting you as we wanted to see how well our kitchen would function and fit into our lifestyle, needless to say it has been a tremendous success.  From our first contact with you we were impressed with your professionalism and desire to ensure that our kitchen was right for us and the space we had. 

As you know, we came to you when our plans for renovation and extension were at a very early stage and your input has been invaluable.  You saw possibilities and potential in our plans which we hadn’t thought of and your ideas were innovative and exciting, we couldn’t wait for the build to begin!!  When the build was delayed due to bad weather, putting back the kitchen installation by several months, you stored our kitchen without complaint, and for that we are extremely grateful. 

When the day arrived (finally), for the installation to go ahead, we can say without hesitation that the kitchen installation was the least stressful part of our entire build.  Martin and Stephen are such gentle giants, patient and precise and clearly take pride in the work they do.  The finished result is flawless and has provided us with our dream kitchen, which looks stunning and is superbly functional.  We must also thank John, who liaised so well with us throughout the waiting and installation period, he is always so friendly on the phone, and nothing is too much trouble.

Thank you once again, Diane and team, for creating and installing our dream kitchen and supplying our new build with the WOW factor.
